چکیده
This paper presents the push-out experimental results of hybrid notch-screw (HNS) connections for timber-concrete composite structures. A total 7 groups specimens were designed and tested. The parameters included loading constraint conditions (i.e., test loaded either in local compression or uniform compression), shapes notches wood, screw number notch, notch width, inclusion a self-tapping reinforcement timber not. discussed terms failure modes, ultimate strength, slip moduli, ductility. yield strengths ductility factors determined based on load-slip curves according to existing standards. showed that both shear width played important roles strengths, ductility, deformability. Rectangular notched with reinforcements displayed coupled brittle failure. With trapezoidal improved, decrease modulus. could greatly improve performance HNS connections. modulus models connection vertical deep provided, which agreement results.

Paper presents the main principals in designing wood-lightweight concrete composite floor structures using FEM models. All design-related analyses are performed by means of the FEA COSMOS/M program. Paper emphasises some important details in FEM model design (how to choose appropriate finite elements for different types of materials, how to connect concrete slab and timber beams to work togethe...
متن کاملPRECAST CONCRETE SHEAR WALL CONNECTIONS USED FOR lYIEDIUM AND HIGHRISE STRUCTURES
The precast concrete shear wall system is becoming very popular in North America for low, medium, and highrise construction due to the economical advantages possible with the ease and speed of assembly, and the high quality of the precast panels. The connections between panels are extremely important since they affect both the speed of erection and the overall integrity of the structure. This p...
